Lifeline
Women of Reform Judaism recognizes the pressing current needs of our worldwide Jewish community. We must also be able to meet the needs of our Jewish community in the future.
By contributing to WRJ’s Lifeline Endowment Fund, the annual interest of which directly supports the YES Fund* (Youth, Education, and Special Projects), you are helping to ensure our ability to meet the needs of future generations.
Upon completion of your Lifeline level - Silver, Gold, Pearl, Diamond, Emerald, or Centennial - you will be presented with a handmade Lifeline pin, corresponding to the level at which you have contributed. Your name will also be listed in a special booklet published biennially. These pins are a symbol of your generosity and your commitment to Reform Judaism.
You may honor others with the gift of a Lifeline as well. This is a meaningful way to recognize someone who has touched your life. A confirmation, a graduation, or an ordination – these are all examples of a perfect occasion to contribute a Lifeline.
Please note our new policy:
- As of January 1, 2009, previous Lifeline contributions will not be counted toward your new Lifeline pledges. New Lifeline pledges will need to be completed in full within the specified time frame for each level.
*Lifeline contributions are not counted toward a sisterhood’s annual YES Fund contribution.
