Through Women of Reform Judaism, sisterhood members connect with a community of more than 75,000 women in over 500 sisterhoods throughout the world. At the heart of WRJ are the shared goals of engagement in spirituality, a commitment to the creation a vital, influential, and caring Reform Jewish community, and advocacy on critical issues to fulfill the spiritual mandate of tikkun olam, helping to “repair a broken world.” 

Affiliation with WRJ brings the voice of your sisterhood or women’s group together with other women world-wide, creating one unified voice, and proving that we are truly stronger together.

The power of women organizing to make a difference is limitless. The magical feeling of bonding, sharing, and just plain fun when women come together is something only we, as women, can understand.

WRJ’s member sisterhoods are kept up-to-date and informed through material such as: 

• Information on agenda items and programs for the year (via listserv or postal mail)
• Membership support and programmatic materials
• A speaker from WRJ’s Speakers Bureau once every two years
• Secure web access to leadership resources for presidents and board members
• A listserv for presidents to network and exchange ideas, letters, and programs
• Weekly e-mails to sisterhood presidents from WRJ leadership
• Critical Issues e-mails with information and action items on women’s rights and humanitarian issues
• Prepared programs that all sisterhoods can participate in together
• Travel and leadership opportunities including:

• Biennial Assembly meetings every two years

How to Affiliate
